ABOUT THE HALL OF FAME

The Belleville Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1997, when 15 prominent Athletes and Builders of Sport were enshrined forever into the Hall. Since that time over 80 Athletes, Builders and Teams have received their due recognition in the Hall.

A significant revitalization of the Hall of Fame is underway, including new leadership, a new web site, a relocation of the Hall of Fame Plaques to the Dr. R. L. Vaughan Atrium, within the Quinte Sport and Wellness Center, the purchase of Display Cases to showcase sporting artifacts related to Hall of Fame Members and sport in Belleville, along with a reactivation of the McDonald’s High School Athlete of the Year Program.

The 2017 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and announcement of the McDonald’s High School Athletes of the Year will take place on September 16, 2017 at the Quinte Sport and Wellness Center.

The Hall of Fame is a Not For Profit Corporation and for our ongoing viability and start up to be successful we require the support of our community. This support would include the ongoing nomination of Athletes, Builders or Teams for consideration as Inductees, along with financial contributions to assist in our annual operating costs and one time start-up costs.

Tax receipts can be provided to those contributing at a defined level.

    • 2017 Induction Ceremony Program.
  • HOF web site – permanent recognition.
$50 to $250
  • 2017 Induction Ceremony Program – ¼ page advertisement for businesses.
    • HOF web site – permanent recognition.
  • Charitable Tax Receipt
$250 to $1000
  • 2017 Induction Ceremony Program – ½ page advertisement.
  • HOF web site – permanent recognition.
  • Charitable Tax Receipt.
  • On QSWC Marque Sign on Cannifton Road for 1 week. (rotating message)
  • Acknowledged in HOF Media Release.
                              $1000 to $3000
  • 2017 Induction Ceremony – full page advertisement or recognition as Inductee Sponsor.
  • HOF web site – permanent recognition.
  • Charitable Tax Receipt.
  • On QSWC Marque Sign on Cannifton Road for 2 weeks. (rotating message)
  • Rotating ad on HOF TV’s, playing 24 hours/day for 6 month period.
Greater than $3000
  • All of previous category, along with name recognition on a HOF Artifact Display Case. There are plans for 12 Display Cases, with 3 already designated.
  • Rotating ad on HOF TV’s, playing 24 hours/day for 12 month period.
